I thought the file is about samyal tips. It's nice to see all types of podi, pickles and other recipies in one file.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks for the upload.
As pointed out by Wittyvenu, the fonts are not displayed for list of contents and headings. I think the error has happened in the conversion stage. Nothing can be done now. But if the original file is available with the uploader, it can be re-uploaded. Alternatively, atleast the list of contents can be typed in English and posted.

I could find the same file in various other forums and even in esnips. All have the same problem. Just a bit of googling could give me the following (I presume): a) The file is meant for Mac OS. (Members who work on Mac may try) b) The font used is Helvatica (for Mac) c) Tried to convert to doc file through online converters and returned with negative reply - that the file is too large.

Also when I tried to copy a page and paste in MS Word and change to popular Tamil fonts, I could not succeed. But just with common fonts like Arial etc, I could read. I am to copy page by page and then paste in MS Word, change the font and then save the file. As this will be slightly cumbersome, let me try to finish during this week end.

In the meantime, let me know what other members come out with.

    Dear Shrashla

    Thanks for giving an idea.
I copied and pasted the list of contents into MS Word document. I downloaded and installed a Tamil TTF font package and converted the document. Here the link for the same

Tamil being my mother tongue, I can read and speak but not an expert in script. I have converted the entire PDF to a word document and uploaded. Please check it is useful. Otherwise I will try other options. Here the link

I could copy first 10 pages (Mainly Index pages) and convert to MS Word document. The same is available at:
    http://www.mediafire.com/file/mdqezde0rrj/Samayal Kurippugal.doc

All other pages could be easily read. Members, please try and let me know.

Please forgive me for my ignorance. I should have converted the Word Doc to PDF and uploaded. Here is the link for the re-converted PDF file. Tell me if there is any problem.
